Job Summary

An Airport Lounge Cleaning Attendant performs cleaning and upkeep duties within First Class and Business Class lounges throughout the entire shift. Ensures assigned lounge areas remain clean, organized, well-stocked, and ready for passengers while providing courteous assistance as needed.

Remain cognizant of WFS staff, security contractors, and visitors' activities and report security breaches, suspicious occurrences, or non-compliance with the site security plan to managers or via the WFS whistleblower program.

Compensation & Status

$21.25/hr | Part-Time | Open Availability Required

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Perform thorough cleaning of lounge areas, including restrooms, floors, etc.
• Monitor and replenish supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning products as needed.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Follow all safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe environment for both guests and staff.
• Preparation and set up of lounge area for opening and closing.
• Greeting passengers, assisting and answering questions.
• Directing passengers to airline representative if needed for further assistance.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Minimum Requirements

• HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
• Previous operational experience required, preferably waitress/waiter or bartender.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. Must have ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Skills

• Reports to work on a regular and timely basis.
• Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
• Demonstrates qualities of leadership, initiative, and judgment.
• Flexibility to work weekends (i.e., Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), holidays, rotating shifts, extended hours due to delays or shortage in manpower and days off.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
