Custodian Position

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our facility. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of all areas within the facility.
• Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and other common areas regularly to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying management when supplies are low.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down furniture and equipment for events and meetings.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored properly after use.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform additional cleaning tasks as needed or assigned by management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and buffers.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
