What You
’
ll Do:
Write clean, well-documented, well-tested code as part of a delivery team working on an active client engagement.
Gain practical experience with modern development stacks, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and DevOps tools.
Participate in code reviews and pairing with Consultants, applying feedback to sharpen your engineering craft.
Help debug, refactor, and document existing systems, and contribute to data models and integrations where the project calls for it.
Dedicate time to research emerging technologies and best practices relevant to your project, applying your academic knowledge in a professional setting.
What You
’
ll Bring:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
Foundational programming knowledge in an object-oriented or modern language (Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript), plus a working understanding of data structures, algorithms, and version control (Git).
Exposure to relational databases and SQL, REST APIs, or cloud services is a plus.
A strong passion for technology consulting and a proactive, ownership-oriented mindset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the enthusiasm to ask questions and learn rapidly.
Ability to work full-time for the duration of the 8-week summer program (6/7-7/30) in a hybrid model based out of one of our hub locations (Nashville or Richmond).

The good-faith base hourly rate for this role is listed below, reflecting the amount UDig is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
