Job Description
A global brand, headquartered in Chicago, is looking for a Space Planner who will specialize in restaurant projects! Responsibilities: - Will participate in remodels as well as new construction restaurant projects
- Will analyze both customer and employee traffic flow in order to increase efficiency of space utilization and improve design
- Participate in equipment placement and rearrangement
- Will redline and update floor plans, elevations, sections, and details
- Review shop drawings and communicate with vendors/suppliers
- Adhere to ADA guidelines for restaurant design
- Will work on architectural detailing and space planning
- Will be placing kitchen, plumbing, utility equipment, and order stations throughout the restaurant
Desired Skills: - Prior space planning experience
- Any commercial, retail or restaurant project experience is a bonus
- Kitchen design experience is a plus, but not required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, any Bluebeam experience is a plus
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $31.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
